We have come such a long way as a civilization: We have mastered our tools, we have crafted vehicles to immense distances in a few hours, we have built cities that keep us virtually secure from unpredictable forces of our planet. Yet, in these times of Individualism, it becomes growingly evident that we have distanced ourselves from our very nature, namely from our creative capacities, from our vitality.
Defining not only being “alive” but also “the fundamental energy of living” as human beings, vitality has always been one of my favorite concepts. It relates to power, discovery, awareness, spiritedness, and experience. As humans, we all have the intrinsic capacity to go through all of these sensations. Yet, in a world ruled by strict expectations, routines, and automation, we essentially require triggers to awaken our true inner rhythm.
I invite you reclaim your vitality by delving into the realms of percussion. Extending far beyond a typical course for music instruments, this program aims to assist you in acquiring a genuine understanding of yourself and your senses, evoking your feelings by bridging them to your personal harmony, and ultimately, discovering the true nature of yourself.
